A carrier quote, invoice and marketplace deduction are three different amounts. Put them in one undifferentiated field and SKU contribution becomes unreliable; the same delivery may even be deducted twice.
A practical sequence
Label each amount as quote, estimate, confirmed invoice or report deduction. Keep its date, currency, tax basis and source.
Choose a shipment allocation basis: units, weight, volume or another defensible driver. Show allocated results and any unallocated remainder.
Check overlaps. Is freight already included in a marketplace fulfillment fee or purchase cost? Do not subtract it twice.
When the actual document arrives, reconcile estimate to actual and recalculate affected SKUs for the relevant period while preserving prior result versions.
A worked example
A 12,000 RUB invoice covers two SKUs. A 50/50 split is easy, but can distort a decision if one item occupies 80% of the volume. The allocation rule belongs beside the result; this example does not prescribe a universal accounting policy.
What to verify
ProfitVena calculates from available inputs and configured rules. An unknown allocation basis means an incomplete result; a forecast quote is not an incurred expense.
