Ozon Fashion insurance reimbursement: who qualifies for cash?
Ozon announced a temporary program starting 5 October 2026 for eligible Fashion inventory. It plans to reimburse the cost of qualifying mass-damage insurance in cash. The first payment for October is expected in November. Ozon clarified that this is money credited to the seller balance, not loyalty points.
Check three conditions for each SKU. First, the item must be in Ozon’s specified clothing, footwear or selected accessory categories, using FBO, FBS or realFBS delivery to an Ozon pickup point. Second, its declared value must be at least 5% below the reimbursement amount under Ozon’s ordinary formula. Ozon said declared-value editing would appear on 28 September in product prices. Third, mass-damage insurance must be active. Ozon counts days when the insured item is at its facilities or in its logistics network.
Keep insurance expense, eligible days, expected reimbursement and actual balance credit separate. A product that looks eligible by category but has no confirmed declared value should not be booked as a certain payout. Reconcile the October basis to the November payment and retain the provider evidence.
