A year without Ozon placement fees: who actually qualifies?
“A year free” does not mean that every unit already in an Ozon warehouse suddenly has zero storage cost. Under Ozon’s announcement, the temporary terms apply to supplies accepted from 22 September through 31 December 2026. The acceptance date, rather than the date you created a supply request, is the key boundary.
Ozon describes the first 21 days after acceptance as free transit processing. The free placement period begins afterward: 344 days for ordinary and fire-hazardous goods, 19 days for bulky goods, and the unchanged 69 days for tyres. Thus 21 + 344 explains the “year” headline for ordinary goods; it is not a universal rule for every category.
Take two identical batches accepted on 21 and 22 September. The newer temporary terms can be assessed for the second batch, while the first remains under the rules applicable to its acceptance. Keep a separate forecast for future charges, preserve closed accounting periods, and reconcile the final result to Ozon’s actual statement. A practical table needs supply ID, SKU, acceptance date, category, transit window, placement window, expected charge and observed charge.
Ozon also announced a 100% cross-docking transportation discount for eligible supplies to Siberia and Kazakhstan through 15 January 2027. Track that separately from placement.
